Students inspiring change

We create a hands-on business experience not offered by similar on-campus enterprises. Everyone joins our team with the opportunity to make coffee, create community, and develop the business. We have leadership roles in operations, human resources, marketing, finance, sustainability, and more. All Meantime baristas balance being full-time UNC students on top of their work.

  • Noreen Mansoor, CEO

    Noreen Mansoor is a Senior from Charlotte, NC, majoring in economics. Noreen joined the Meantime as a freshman as an Operations Assistant. She now leads the company. Her favorite drink at the Meantime is a matcha with oat milk.

  • Parima Shelat, CFO

    Parima Shelat is a Senior from Cary, NC, majoring in Business Administration with minors in Public Policy and Entrepreneurship. She loves hiking, kayaking, watching sunsets, and going to flea markets. Her favorite Meantime order is iced raspberry mocha with oat milk!

  • Hannah Hankins and Jack Wilson, CMOs

    Hannah Hankins and Jack Wilson are Seniors from and Charlotte and Cary, NC studying Communications and Media & Journalism, respectively. They love nonprofit marketing and are excited to play a role in expanding Meantime's brand reach! Their favorite drinks are an iced macadamia pistachio latte and oat chai!

    John Stoehr is a Senior from Charlotte, NC, majoring in economics. John joined the Meantime as a Sophmore as an Operations Assistant. He now leads that department and manages all operational activities. His favorite drink at the Meantime is an iced matcha.

    Kyle Daniels is a Junior from Los Angeles, CA, studying Environmental Science and Economics. He loves playing guitar, cooking new recipes, and exploring farmers markets. His favorite drink is a honey lavender latte with oat milk.

  • John Swinea, CHRO

    John Swinea is a Junior from Chapel Hill, NC, studying Business and Sustainability. He has worked at the Meantime since Fall 2023. Outside of the cafe, John loves to adventuring around the triangle with friends, listening to 2000’s pop music, and global travel. His favorite drink is a vanilla honey matcha with almond milk.
